It Started as a Spreadsheet
A friend running a market booth had two options: pay $30-$40 a month for a POS app, or fight with Excel on her phone screen at checkout. Neither felt right.
So we built a third option — free.
We took her plain Excel Point of Sale and turned it into a real app. It installs straight from the browser to her phone’s home screen — no App Store, no developer account, no monthly bill. Now she scans a barcode, taps Charge, hands over a receipt — and the sale is already sitting in her Excel report by the time she’s home.
What It Does
- Scan to sell, and scan a new product to add it automatically — name and photo pulled in for you
- Live inventory — buy stock in, sell it out, low-stock alerts as counts move in real time
- Multi-user logins, so every cashier rings in as themselves
- Receipts, discounts, tax — all handled on the spot
The Part That Matters: It Feeds Into Excel
Every sale flows into Excel automatically — one-way, read-only, through Power Query. Your pivots, filters, and macros keep working on live data. The app runs the store. Excel runs the reports.
