Hello My Friends, and welcome to another #SolutionsSaturday. In this week’s Q & A we discussing the all-important subject of motivation. “How Do you Stay Motivated?” is probably a question we have all asked of others and ourselves at one time or another. While I don’t have all the answers on this I can at least share my experience and perspective.
The fact of the matter is, its really hard to stay motivated all of the time. There is no doubt that I have my own moments of feeling less motivated at times, however there are a few things I would like to share that help keep me motivated and may help you as well.
Pick Your Why. The
first thing we can do is to make sure we pick a strong and significant ‘Why’.
Why are you working hard each day? What is the reason you push yourself so
hard? For who, or what, do you do what you do? Without a strong ‘Why’ pushing
you each and every day, it is really hard to stay motivated.
My why is you guys. I want to see and help everyone success in ways they never
thought possible, and if I can share my experiences, mistakes, shortcuts,
tools, tricks and techniques to help you get there faster and with far more
success than you could imagine then I have done my job. Your feedback, stories,
and comments are what keeps my why, helping you, a strong key to my motivation
each day.
Good Habits & Routines: We all get in certain habits & routines each day. Some we choose by design, others we just seem to fall into for one reason or another. Since this is quite natural, we can do our best to make sure those habits and routines are helping us get to our dreams and goals each day and not taking away from them. A simple question we can ask ourselves is “Will this help me achieve my goals or not” It really does not have to be that complex. That simple question that we ask ourselves can often change our habits for the good since we often know the things we should be doing, but calling yourself out, right away helps bring our goals, and our why, into the forefront of our minds, so that we can quickly stop those bad habits that take us farther from those dreams. The results of those good habits strengthen your ability to stay motivated, even during those difficult days.
Take Care Of Yourself. As they said Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, and I really believe that holds true. While we all get busy, stressed and overloaded at times, one of the best ways to keep your motivation is via a healthy lifestyle. Although I have a love of all food, try very hard to make exercise a part of my daily routine. This really helps me keep my focus and motivation when I am working since the exercise helps me work out a lot of the stress.
I hope this Saturday Solution can help you stay motivated to achieving your goals and dreams and I am happy if I can be a part of that.
